Yesterday was Earth Day which is where events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It doesn’t have to be a one day event, it can be Earth Day everyday. Let’s continue to protect the earth by considering small changes in our lives that can make a difference such as donating, reusing and recycling items before throwing them away, by closing water taps while brushing your teeth, turning off the lights when not in use and walking, cycling, car pooling or using public transportation. It’s by small and simple things that great things happen. Every small but caring act that a person can accomplish makes an impact which is a piece of the puzzle to transform the world. Together, we can make a difference!
Did you know that the whole world out there is yours?!
Well…it is and no one can take it away from you. It is yours to own, live in and make the very best of so don’t allow your negative self to get in the way. Don’t allow your state of mind or your fears prevent you from having what’s already yours. Claim your world now! It is what you make it. What you get out of it is what you put into it so make the most out of it and make it your best. The world is yours!
Today is World Humanitarian Day…a time to recognize those who face danger and adversity in order to help others.
Every day humanitarian aid workers help millions of people worldwide, regardless of who and where they are.
This year’s campaign “I Was Here” is about making your mark by doing something good, somewhere, for someone else. Let this day be a global celebration of people helping people. No matter how big or small, a helping hand makes a difference. Let’s show the world that we believe in helping others.
