Remembering: Muhammad Ali!

RIP to the legend, Muhammad Ali, who was the definition of strength, courage and determination.

You Will Bend But Never Break!

God brings you through things but He will never give you more than you can take. He knows your strength better than you will ever know and with Him by your side, who can be against you right?!…No one! God knows your limits and He will allow you to bend further than you can ever imagine. You may not know that you are more flexible than a rubber band but you are. Although rubber bands can break when overstretched or over time, trust in God and you will never break.

You will bend but never break!

God Will Bring You Through It!

I’m sure you heard that everything in life happens for a reason…Well I believe that no matter what you’re going through and regardless of how good or bad your situation is, the process is meant for a higher purpose. Although it can be frustrating not knowing why you’re going through that particular situation at the time, I hope you can find comfort in knowing that if God brings you to it; He will bring you through it. Keep the faith and trust God!

Think Thursday: Do Better Tomorrow!

There are good days like there are bad days but when those ‘not-so-good’ days come, just remember that you have the power to turn it around…One thought at a time, one word at a time, one action at a time and one day at a time. No matter what, don’t give up. Dust yourself off, let it go, forgive yourself, pick yourself up and try again. Do better tomorrow today!

Happy Thursday! ❤️xo

Think Thursday: Let’s Teach Our Daughters And Sons!

Let’s raise our daughters to be strong, confident and empowered women, who believe they are worth the very best in life and nothing less, who understand who they are as daughters of God and who see themselves as beautiful queens with limitless value and blessed with many talents.

Let’s also teach our sons to be strong, confident and empowered men who believe they are worth the very best in life and nothing less, who understand who they are as sons of God and who see themselves as handsome kings with limitless value and blessed with many talents.

Happy Thursday! ❤️️xo

Fear Not…!

Today, I want to share with you one of my favourite bible verses (Isaiah 41:10), in the hopes that it will be an inspiration to you as it was and still is for me.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ NIV)

There is no reason to fear with God on your side. He will give you strength. He will lend His helping hand. He will ensure that everything works out for the good so fear not and be encouraged!

Happy Sunday! Be blessed! ❤️️️️️️️️xo

Think Thursday: What Would You Do?!

Fear is generally known to be a distressed emotion induced by a threat (real or imagined), imminent danger, pain or evil. It ultimately causes a change in behaviour which leads to confrontation with or avoiding the threat. What if the notion of fear never existed? What if you didn’t have to deal with the fight-or-flight response?

Haven’t you heard…

Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real!”

If this is your definition of fear, then you have the ability to turn it into power. Let fear be your motivator. Let it be an opportunity for self growth and self discovery. Let it be a source of untapped personal power. Let it be a passage from wanting to doing.

What would you the fearless you do?

I’ve struggled with the notion of drowning for years now and it’s kept me from becoming the amazing swimmer I know I can be…but I know I can turn it around and make my dream of swimming with dolphins come true. That’s why it’s on my bucket list and I’m looking forward to crossing that item off soon.

What about you?

Happy Thursday! ❤️️xo

The Lord Gives Me Strength!

During trying times, reach out to God and He will be your strength. He will stand by you, He will take care of you and He will focus on you. Let the Lord give you strength!

But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. (‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬ NIV)

Happy Sunday! Be blessed!

Talk Tuesday: Thank You Ruby for Showing the Way!

I wanted to kick off Black History Month with a powerful quote from Ruby Bridges, the first African American child to desegregate an all-white elementary school in New Orleans on November 14, 1960. Six-year-old Ruby persisted in attending William Frantz Elementary School by marching alongside a team of U.S. Marshals amidst the hatred, threats and daily harassment. She may not have known then nor would she come to realize it for many years but her bravery and courage that she demonstrated in the fall of 1960 would forever change lives and shape a nation.

Don’t follow the path. Go where there is no path and start a trail. -Ruby Bridges

Thank you Ruby for your inspiring strength, resilience and fateful walk to school!

Happy Tuesday!

Let God Be Your Peace!

Let God be your strength during trying times.
Let God be your protector when you feel insecure.
Let God be your peace always!
He wants to be all of that for you and more.

Happy Sunday! Be blessed!

Think Thursday: Accept Your Growth!

Everything in life happens for a reason. You may not know why right away but there will come a time where it will all make sense (and you will experience what I call the “ah-hah” moment). So whatever the challenge, just remember that there is always purpose behind it. You are not going through it for nothing. You are not wasting your time.

Everything you go through is meant to teach you, strengthen you and “grow you” into the person you are meant to be. So, why not think about the life lessons behind every challenge you face and accept your growth (regardless of the outcome). It will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Happy Thursday!
