A Culture Chic Affair!

I was happy to attend the RSVP Presents A Culture Chic Affair this past weekend and I had such a fabulous time meeting some amazingly talented people from artists to fashion designers to makeup artists to entrepreneurs. It was such an enriching experience filled with Afro-Caribbean culture, live entertainment, creative artisans and designers. In fact, there were so many great moments (that I was able to capture on camera), it’s only right that I share them with you. Experience a Culture Chic Affair through my eyes and camera lens. Enjoy!

Jana & Emilia Fashion Design Tufafi Fashion  Sidow Designs AMM Line Productions  Custom made bead designs from Beads Eleganza. Curly Hair Design products for the “curls of the world”. Veronica looked lovely with her ready to wear, ready to shine Kuwala design. Love it! Tanyta Boldon’s apron design from Aquilla Design Company worn by a fashionista. Antonia Bejide, makeup artist, looked flawless with her piercing eyes and beautiful glow (follow her YouTube channel @Toni3luv). Sarah A. Onyango (Rogers Television host, CHUO 89.1FM Radio host & producer) hosted the event with such grace. Nancita Kapi sang her heart out and strutted the catwalk for AMM Line Productions. The lovely Divine (I love her name!), Event Specialist, RSVP Events Canada, along with her team really worked their magic to ensure an elegant and flawlessly executed event. Tribal Threat entertained the crowd with great music. Cheryl Sandiford, Certified reflexologist, Sabrah’s Reflexology, restored my balance & harmony through my soles and I must say her hands are pure bliss. Wonderful artwork display. Afric du Canada also displayed some lovely art. Unique African accents, clothing, home decor and accessories from Chidima Dezigns. Aprons on display from Aquilla Design Company by Tanyta Boldon. This was an event I’m glad I did not miss. Thank you RSVP Events Canada for extending the invitation and for your heart-felt hospitality throughout the event. Looking forward to many more.
