The 2014 BET Awards kicked off last night at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. and the ladies rocked the red carpet with some hot looks…
Scandal star Kerry Washington looked great in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana floral dress paired with white pointy pumps and green clutch.
Tamera Mowry-Housley wore a navy blue front zipper Yigal Azrouël dress.
Tamera rocked the navy but the colour of the night was definitely stark white.
New mom Eva Marcille wore a white hot Sin Couture gown.
Amber Rose also opted for white in this gorge gown with silver belt.
Regina Hall proved she can rock a pantsuit like no other in this chic white tuxedo.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw rocked an elegant, high-neck white dress by Jason Wu.

3⃣Learn more about Black History Month.
Viola Desmond – A black business woman who faced segregation in the 1940s when she entered a theatre and took a seat on the main floor (reserved for white viewers only) and refused to go to the balcony unaware that tickets sold to African Canadians were for balcony only.
Read the story of Viola Desmond at http://www.blackhistorycanada.ca and to learn more about Black History.
4⃣Celebrate LOVE this month by spreading lots of it! 💗💓💕💞💘💖
5⃣Add some pinks and reds to your wardrobe.
November is not over yet!!! You still have 2 more days to add these to your To-Do list:
1 – Check out The Best Man Holiday movie (premiered November 15th in theatres near you…hopefully!)
2 – Shop in-store or online for Black Friday sales (TODAY!)
It’s the perfect time to start your Christmas shopping (if you haven’t already).
We all love a great sale! 🙋
3 – Donate to Movember – Let’s support the men who are committed to grow a moustache for the entire month of November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.
My friend Andrew Lockett is making a difference. You can do the same by donating online here!
4 – Check out The Hunger Games: Catching Fire!
I must admit, I was hooked after the 1st one. I’m excited to see this movie myself.
5 – Try one of your favorite holiday drinks from Starbucks!
Do you prefer the Gingerbread Latte, the Caramel Brûlée Latte or the Peppermint Mocha?
I plan to start a new tradition and try a different one every year.
This year, I will try the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate (thanks to my colleague Meg for the tip). 👍
Enjoy the rest of November!
