The beginning of Spring is finally here!!! Yayyy! It’s time (or almost time) to trade in your boots for booties, your thick layers for thinner ones and your winter coats for Moto jackets!
I absolutely love the chic biker look of the moto jacket, especially when thrown over a simple tee. Add the perfect pair of distressed denim, accessories and classic pumps and you’ve got a flawless outfit. Pick a colour, roll up the sleeves and wear it unzipped and let the moto jacket do what it do. Here are some inspirational boards featuring moto jackets. (Images via Pinterest)
Will you be rocking a moto jacket this season?
Happy Friday! ❤️️️️️️️️xo
I love wearing different shades of grey during the cold months, especially when it comes to sweaters, denim and accessories (like my new beanie!)…but there’s just something about a grey jacket that catches the eye. With different combinations of black & white, grey tones go well with any and everything. It can be easily paired with any colour but I absolutely love the monochromatic look. Not sure how to pull a 50 shades of grey look, check out some of my grey jacket boards for inspiration.

Beanies are one of my go-to items this winter (but not if my hair is in an undo or high bun…those days I rock my leopard print earmuffs)…now back to beanies…They are the perfect accessory to have, especially for those not-so-good/lazy hair days…a great instant problem-solver! Not only are they stylish but they also provide warmth, which is a must during the cold months (your ears will thank you). Available in different shapes, sizes, styles, colours and prints, you have lots of options to choose from. Although I prefer the basic ones (like the black or grey ribbed versions – they go with everything!), I also love to play with bright colours like fuchsia, emerald green, royal blue and neon yellow. It’s a great way to add a pop of colour to your winter (outdoor) wardrobe. Need a little beanie-inspiration?! Here are some of my favourite looks…

What is your go-to accessory this winter? Will you be rocking beanies this season?
Everyone has a “Fantasy Wish List” (things that you don’t need but uber want) and I thought it would be fun to share mine (a girl can dream right?!). Plus you never know, Santa might have me on his good list this year.
My FWL consists of…
▫️Of course, shoes! I’m absolutely loving these laminated high heel court shoes in gold and silver from Zara. They are a must-have in my books and under $70.
▫️More shoes! I’ve been in love with these Pigalle red bottoms in black and nude forever now and I look forward to one day rocking a pair I can call my very own.
▫️Sephora Favorites! Sephora always has amazing gift set ideas and
1 2 3 that caught my eye are Bottled Dreams Fragrance Sampler For Her, Give Me Some Lip and Give Me Some More Lip. It’s a great way to discover new fragrances and lippies and I’m all about that.
▫️Michael Kors! MK came out with a new Sexy Rio de Janeiro Eau de Parfum and I’m in love with its soft, feminine, exotic yet everyday scent. It would be a perfect addition to my collection.
▫More MK! I am due for a new wallet and I’m loving the simplicity and sleekness of this jet set travel continental wallet.
▫️Wool Coat! I’ve been on the search for the perfect camel wool coat for a few years now but this Zara belted wool coat in mink made me lose sight of the ‘camel-colour-must’. It’s absolutely stunning!
▫️Clutches! Cortnie Elizabeth, designer of Love, Cortnie handbags has created some amazing clutches and tote bags. I’m particularly loving this Ashleigh statement clutch, the RiRi II statement clutch and the Calico calf hair statement clutch.
▫️Click Clash Flash! I know a good camera is a must-have so why not go for one that is sure to take the most beautifully vibrant photos like this Canon.
▫️Last but not least, wine! I’m a moscato lover so when I heard that Christina Milian (along with her momager & publicist) created Viva Diva Moscato Wines in different flavours, I knew I had to add that to my list…with so many options to choose from like strawberry, mango and pineapple & coconut, you just can’t go wrong.
These are the items that made it to my FWL. What’s on your list this year?
A few months ago, J.Crew came out with this fab excursion quilted vest in herringbone here that sold out very fast.
This down-filled puffer vest is light, compact and perfect for layering. The slimmer silhouette adds glamour to it’s sporty shape but it’s the herringbone pattern that gives it the extra spice.
Men can definitely rock this look as well.
