Tony A. Gaskins – Real Love Tour Montreal!

After Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa, the “Expert” Tony A. Gaskins, certified in marital relations life coach and speaker, will be in Montreal on Saturday, July 18th as part of his anticipated The Real Love Tour. The Bonaventure Hotel (900 Rue de la Gauchetière O, H5A 1E4) will host this interactive conference which is designed to open a dialogue on seeking and maintaining healthy relationships. You don’t want to miss out on this event!

Tony A. Gaskins is one of the most sought-after motivational speakers in the United States. Followed by millions on social media, he devotes himself to his seminars and lectures on different subjects such as love, business, success and self-development. He was featured on many television programs including “Tyra Banks Show” and famous “Oprah Winfrey Show”, where he shared his troubled past in the world of drugs and violence. He is also the author of several books, a professional life coach (to many NFL and NBA athletes), a relationship consultant and producer. Most importantly, he is a husband and father.

On July 18, men and women, couples and singles are invited to benefit from Gaskins’ expert advice on how to remain happily married or on how to invest the work necessary to meet the ideal partner.

“We live in a society where the divorce rate and the number of singles is rising steadily. By inviting a renowned expert from the United States, we, in Montreal will be exposed to a perspective from a different culture which will enrich our knowledge.” said Golda Simon, President and Founder of Gold Diva Events

Considering that nearly 41% of Canadian marriages end in divorce and that many people remain single despite themselves, this seminar is pertinent to our current society and definitely worth attending. Translation services will be made available.

TICKETS range from $ 30 – $ 60 | $ 100 VIP Cocktail

If you can’t make it in person, there will also be a Live Webcast for only $17

Farewell Jacob Inc!

20140507-072955.jpg
It really saddens me to hear that the Montreal-based company, Jacob Inc, has filed for bankruptcy and will be closing all stores across Canada after 35 years. In the next few weeks, they will be liquidating inventory at the remaining 92 stores.

This news hits home on a very personal level. Jacob is where it started for me and my career. Words cannot even express what this women’s clothing retailer instilled in me. The values, the techniques, the business…I can say that I am rich in experience and knowledge after 7 dedicated years. I will never forget the wonderful memories created with such a loving team and family. I would not be the person I am today without Jacob Inc. and it will be a part of my life always. I’m forever grateful!

Here are some looks from their lookbook.

President and founder, Joey Basmaji, in a statement:
“Although we did not achieve the desired result, I am proud of the passion and dedication that the Jacob team showcased over these past few years while trying to bring the company back to financial health,”
“I would like to sincerely thank each employee and business partner that contributed to our success during these 35 wonderful years. I hope that the remaining Canadian retailers will get through these difficult economic times.”
