Happy Sunday! ❤️xo
There are times in life when you may feel defeated, hurt, pain or sadness…and it’s ok to go through those motions so allow yourself to weep, to be angry or take a moment for yourself when needed…as long as you endure it only for a moment. This situation is temporary. You are not meant to get stuck in that phase for too long. You can endure it for a night but remember that joy comes in the morning!
“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
Psalm 30:5 NIV
Happy Sunday! ❤️xo
Every morning when you wake, God sends you a special delivery of joy but in order to receive it, you must be willing to accept it. Today, choose to receive your gift of joy. Declare that today will be a great day! God wants you to be happy. He wants you to wake up with a cheerful heart. He wants you to enjoy life to the fullest, one day at time. He also wants you to share your joy with others and help brighten their lives.
Joy comes in the morning!
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
(Psalm 30:5 NIV)
In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. (1 Peter 1:6 NIV)
Find joy in everything, even in times of grief and suffering. The obstacles, the trials, the tests are inevitable. There is no escaping the challenges but just remember that the difficult times are temporary and there is joy ahead. That is God’s promise for you and for your life. So deal with it now and endure it now so that you may find joy in the morning.
The best is yet to come.
Happy Sunday! Be blessed!
Whatever you set out to accomplish by the end of the year is still feasible if you believe (and as long as it’s reasonably attainable in less than 30 days of course 😳) so keep pushing, keep fighting and finish what you started.
Happy joy and happiness month!
Wishing you all a Happy & Healthy New Year 2013!!! May you be blessed in all that you do…whatever it is…you can do anything you set your mind and heart to!
This time of year is one of my faves. I get to partake in a wonderful traditional Haitian meal called “Soup Joumou” (with patties of course…yummy!)
Every 1st of January, we celebrate a new year and Haitian Independence Day. Soup Joumou is a traditional thick and hearty Haitian soup made of pumpkin, beef, and potatoes…2 words: SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
Well 2013 is finally here!!! Enjoy, be safe, be blessed! The best is yet to come…
