Happy Sunday! ❤️xo
When you look for happiness in all of the wrong places, you end up disappointed. People and things will always disappoint you…your spouse, family and friends will somehow let you down…and so will a new house, car and all things material…although these things can bring you temporary happiness, why settle for anything less than permanent. One thing is for sure…God will never disappoint you. Seek true happiness in Him and you cannot be broken.

Here is another key to happiness: “Do what you love!”. It’s as simple as that. When you love what you do, your happiness cup fills up more quickly and the more you love it, the more full your cup will be (and there is nothing wrong with an overflow). Do what you love and do more of it!

Happy Thursday! ❤️xo
Do more of what makes you happy and get rid of everything else. It’s really as simple as that. There is no need to complicate things. So whatever makes you smile, whatever brings you joy, whatever lifts your spirit, keep it and make sure to put it on repeat. This is the key to happiness.
Happy Tuesday! ❤️xo
Why wait when the time is now?!
Stop waiting for the perfect (insert here) to be happy. Happiness is not conditional to you being at a certain place, level or time in your life. Be happy now!
Stop waiting for tomorrow to do things. Tomorrow is not promised so don’t lose an opportunity to pursue your dreams, accomplish your goals or to enjoy life thinking you have all the time ahead of you. Spend each day like it were your last and make the most of every moment.
Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting!
Happy Thursday! ❤️️️️️️️xo
A common life goal for most people is to be happy. During the pursuit of happiness, there will be roadblocks along the way but they are meant to keep you strong. You may experience loss (personal, financial or material) which keeps you human. There will also be disappointments but they are meant to keep you pushing. There will be failures to keep you humble. You may feel defeated at times but know that with every loss, there is a gain. Through it all, God will be there to keep you going. Trust in Him and He will see you trough…
Wishing you all a blessed day!
The less you worry about the silly or petty things, the better off you will be.
The less you focus on the haters, the stronger you will be.
The less the importance of other people’s negative opinions of you, the happier you will be. After all, other people’s opinions of you are none of your business so why carry such a heavy load on your shoulders when you really don’t have to? Better yet, lighten up that excess weight by dusting off your shoulders and letting go of all of that mess. No worries, no haters and no shade!
The less you care about that stuff, the happier you will be.
Find out what makes you happy, joyful and excited and do it repeatedly. Whatever brings a smile to your face or puts you in good spirits is your source of happiness. You deserve the best in life so why not focus on the things that bring out the radiant, joyous star in you. Life is too short to be unhappy, miserable and down (for too long). Enjoy life to the fullest!
My family, my friends and God make me happy. I’m happy when I dance, sing and listen to my favourite music aloud. It may be obvious but (online, in-store or window) shopping makes me happy too. Another thing that brings me happiness is blogging so thank you for taking the time to visit StarInMoi and for your ongoing love & support. I appreciate all of you, my blogging fam!
So tell me, what makes you happy?
First, we are encouraged to act right, to excel in school and to get a job, all while dealing with the pressures of bullies, alcohol, tobacco, sex & drugs. Then there is pressure to find a husband and if you are still single by (insert age here), the questions start coming: “Why are you still single!? Is there something wrong with you!?” If you are in a serious relationship and you’ve past the X-month/year mark, you get the: “Where’s the ring!? When is the wedding!?” Let’s not forget the newlyweds the day after the wedding: “When is the baby coming!? You’re not getting any younger. Your clock is ticking!”
Heard it all before!!!…whether it was directed at me or someone close to me and to that I say: Keep your comments & questions to yourself! Your may have good intentions and you may mean well but it’s just not fair to the other person. You don’t know their journey, what they’ve been through or what they’re dealing with so it’s best to just keep it on mute.
No one needs that type of pressure in life.
So…for all those dealing with THE PRESSURE (moi included!), don’t be
too concerned with what others think or say. Just let go and let God! Doing this will bring you true happiness!
