Today, I want to share with you one of my favourite bible verses (Isaiah 41:10), in the hopes that it will be an inspiration to you as it was and still is for me.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)
There is no reason to fear with God on your side. He will give you strength. He will lend His helping hand. He will ensure that everything works out for the good so fear not and be encouraged!
Happy Sunday! Be blessed! ❤️️️️️️️️xo
Fear is generally known to be a distressed emotion induced by a threat (real or imagined), imminent danger, pain or evil. It ultimately causes a change in behaviour which leads to confrontation with or avoiding the threat. What if the notion of fear never existed? What if you didn’t have to deal with the fight-or-flight response?
Haven’t you heard…
“Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real!”
If this is your definition of fear, then you have the ability to turn it into power. Let fear be your motivator. Let it be an opportunity for self growth and self discovery. Let it be a source of untapped personal power. Let it be a passage from wanting to doing.
What would you the fearless you do?
I’ve struggled with the notion of drowning for years now and it’s kept me from becoming the amazing swimmer I know I can be…but I know I can turn it around and make my dream of swimming with dolphins come true. That’s why it’s on my bucket list and I’m looking forward to crossing that item off soon.
What about you?
Happy Thursday! ❤️️xo
I’m pretty sure none of us have ever woken up and thought, “I hope I have a terrible day today.” Instead, we might expect to have a bad day or worry about what’s to come. These emotions only come from fear and doubt.
Why not believe that all things will work out for the good?!
Why not hope that the best is yet to come?!
Let’s not wait for Friday (or the weekend) to come to have a good day.
Make today a good day!
Let’s not wait for something great to happen to have a good day.
See the great in every situation!
Let’s hope for the best today and everyday.
It’s a good day to have a good day!
Just like the woman with the issue of blood who knew that her healing would come through the simple touch of Jesus’ cloak, we can be healed too. You just have to believe..your faith will heal you! There is no need to be afraid. Have no fear, just believe!
In life, you have the right, the opportunity or the power to choose. It’s always best to choose when you have an optimistic attitude and when your mindset is focused on expecting a positive outcome. It can be in relation to an event, a life circumstance or just in general. When you “expect with confidence”, a greater and more favourable outcome is sure to come your way. When you expect the worst, you may just get the worst. So why not set yourself up for success. May your choices reflect your hopes! Hope changes everything!
I will take Faith over fear anytime because when you have faith (even as small as a mustard seed), there is no need to worry. You can let go of all doubt because you trust that everything will work out. Believe and you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Faith conquers fear!
Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. (Matthew 21:21 NIV)
Happy Sunday! Be blessed!
What is it that you’re afraid of and why?
FEAR can be described as an emotion caused by a threat perceived, which can cause a change in behaviour (like running away, hiding or freezing from traumatic events). FEAR can also be described as False Evidence Appearing Real. Which description best suits your understanding of fear?
When you realize that fear is only a perceived risk that truly isn’t a danger to you at all, you will learn to replace your fears with faith.
When induced by fear…instead of running away, stand still and face your fears. Instead of hiding, make yourself visible and confront your fears. Instead of freezing or looking stunned, remain calm and deal with your fears. Turn your fears into action and overcome them. It may be the very thing needed to set you free. Set yourself free today!
Don’t let anyone get in the way or stop you from achieving your goals!
On your path to success, there will be distractions, nay-sayers, haters (sometimes even friends or relatives), bullies, obstacles and/or hurdles in your way but as long as you stay focused, you can overcome all of those things. Society, fear or guilt won’t stop you.
You just have to believe, stay focused and keep pushing! We got this!
It may be hard to admit but sometimes you just have to learn to let go.
No more limits, no more boundaries, no more heaviness weighing you down.
Let go and let God!!!
