Happy Thursday! ❤️xo
Last night, CBS hosted the Victoria Secret’s 2015 Fashion Show where angels such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge and Lais Ribeiro graced the runway in some fiery, colourful and sexy lingerie.
I’m still hopeful that one day, average size women will have the opportunity to strut this prestigious runway. No shade to any of these beautiful VS models but I’m sure Toccara Jones and Kristen Madison could also make VS look amazing. #justsaying
This annual event held in New York included performances by Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.

Again a HUGE thank you to Kama St-Juste and her leading team Médina Diabagate, Béatrice Clervoix and Liette Clervoix for bringing AFWMTL to Montreal.
I truly hope this entices you to be a part of AFWMTL next year. I know I will be (God willing!).

Happy Saturday! ❤️xo
Mark your calendars everyone…Africa Fashion Week is coming to Montreal for the very first time this year! You may want to clear your schedules for this, particularly Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th as of 7pm when this event will take place at Théâtre Paradoxe on 5959 Monk Blvd, Montreal. Africa Fashion Week Montreal (AFWMTL) will certainly prove to be an event you won’t want to miss.
This unique yet flamboyant annual event aims to celebrate African and Caribbean culture through exceptional talents of designers and architects who will be showcasing their creative looks. The fashion industry is so ready for this new era of colourful patterns, prints and African fabrics and it has been for the past few years. See for yourself…
AFWMTL will be captured on The Nikki Clarke Show in Ontario and will be live on the web. It is presented by a fabulous (leading) team of diverse women who share prowess in fashion, coordination, direction and design. Kama St-Juste leads this project alongside Béatrice Clervoix, Liette Clervoix et Médina Diabagate in an effort to show Montreal as a prenominate city where fashion resides. This event will feature 8 renowned and emerging designers such as Asikere Afana, Tufafi Fashion and Korto Momolu to name a few. Check out some of their fabulous collections…

Are you ready for the sexiest night on television?
The 2014 Victoria Secret Fashion Show airs tomorrow night (Tuesday, December 9) at 10/9c on CBS. The annual event features elaborate costumed lingerie shown on some of the world’s top fashion models such as current Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk and Karlie Kloss. With all the lavish costumes (many including angel wings) and with performances by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, and Hozier, the show is sure to be quite the entertainment. This year’s runway themes are Gilded Angels, University of Pink, Exotic Traveler, Fairy Tale, Dream Girl and Angel Ball.
Here are some of my favourite looks from the different themes running within the show.

Yesterday, the Michael Kors spring/summer show took place at Spring Studios, NY for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Olivia Munn rocked MK from head to toe in this suntan eyelet jacquard jumpsuit that she paired with black sandals. This look is simple yet chic. No accessories needed! The jumpsuit is a statement in itself and the sweetheart shape neckline oozes femininity. I think I need this one-piece wonder in my closet. What are your thoughts?

Last night, one of the biggest and most anticipated fashion shows aired on television and some of the most “fierce” angels took the catwalk strutting an array of colours, crystals, feathers, over the top costumes and of course “angel wings”.
*Side note: Although I may not have the body of a supermodel, I am learning to love my curves…one body part at a time (work in progress). That is why I was able to watch this show with ease (somewhat) and appreciation of what God has blessed me with. #curvyisthenewskinny #backtothispost
Candice Swanepoel opened the show modelling this year’s $10 million dollar fantasy bra, the most expensive one yet.
Do these famous fantasy bras ever get sold? Would you buy it if you could?
Bedecked in lingerie, Victoria’s Secret angels paraded on stage showcasing different themes.
The show kicked off with “British Invasion”:
Then came the feathers with “Birds of Paradise”:
Veteran Angel Alessandra Ambrosio
Next came the soft delicates with “Shipwrecked”:
There is no VS show without pink, so here’s to “Pink Network”:
One of my fave themes of the night “Parisian Nights”:
Save the best for last with the finale “Snow Angels”:
Confession: Taylor Swift did that with this outfit.
Veteran Angel Adriana Lima

Which one is your fave look?
