I’m baaaaaack! That’s right, I took a 2-month hiatus only to come back with more exciting ‘star-like’ things and I just can’t wait to share with you all of the things that are near and dear to my heart. What better way to start than with…wait for it…FASHION!
As most “magasineuses” know, the highly anticipated designer collaboration Balmain x H&M is launching TODAY (8am local time to be exact). I mean who wouldn’t want to get their hands on an Olivier Rousteing-designed item. See for yourself…
My fellow Canadians can shop this designer collection at Rockland Centre and St. Catherine St. West at Peel St. in Montreal, Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, Bloor St. West, Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto and The Pacific Centre in Vancouver. The lucky first 420 people in line will receive a coloured wristband to shop in groups of 30 for 10 mins only so plan your shopping list beforehand (side note: this collection fits slightly smaller). Afterwards, everything will be up for grabs to everyone else.

I was happy to attend the RSVP Presents A Culture Chic Affair this past weekend and I had such a fabulous time meeting some amazingly talented people from artists to fashion designers to makeup artists to entrepreneurs. It was such an enriching experience filled with Afro-Caribbean culture, live entertainment, creative artisans and designers. In fact, there were so many great moments (that I was able to capture on camera), it’s only right that I share them with you. Experience a Culture Chic Affair through my eyes and camera lens. Enjoy!

Camilla Belle attended the Moët & Chandon event honouring Brand Ambassador Roger Federer‘s history making 1000th career match win at the Four Seasons Hotel last Saturday (March 7) in Beverly Hills, California. She showcased such flair in a beautiful printed Preen Pre-Fall 2015 wrap dress. The British designer duo have caught my attention with this wonderful piece that plays with layers, prints and colours. Belle accessorized with a white box Lee Savage ‘East Stack’ clutch and heeled it off with black strappy Brian Atwood sandals. Her makeup was kept minimal for a soft yet natural look and she completed her overall vibrant look with the perfect black mani/pedi.

The service was held last Friday at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
Mrs. Posh wore her own design featuring a chain-embellished coat, slim-fitting trousers and classic pumps. She accessorized with a matching chain-link clutch (which complemented her ensemble perfectly) and a pair of black shades. She kept her look stylish as always though appropriate for the occasion.

With New Year’s Eve being just a few days away, I’m sure many of you are still trying to figure out what to wear for the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. Whether you’re planning to wear a
little not-so-little black dress or a structured sweater with denim or even a blouse with a skirt, what better way to accessories your outfit than with a statement necklace.
They are the perfect accessory to make ANY ensemble stand out. This statement jewelry is meant to be the focus of the overall look and the ultimate conversation starter. You can certainly keep the rest of the outfit simple with such an eye-grabber piece. Chic yet effortless! All you need is this one piece (or a couple pieces if you decide to stack a few necklaces to get the look). Here are some of my face looks featuring statement necklaces.

Star of Beyond The Lights, Gugu Mbatha-Raw hit up the Hollywood premiere of the film on Wednesday night looking bomb.com in a bluebird long-sleeved Stella McCartney dress (yours for $4035…yikes!). Ok so forget the price for a second…This dress is everything! The open back oozes sexiness yet the trim in scallop lace exudes sophistication.
Love every single detail of this dress. She perfected her look with a simple pair of black pumps and matching clutch.
Actress Sanaa Lathan also came out to support. I’m loving her in bright colours lately. She worked this orange & black Tanya Taylor dress and looked fab. What are your thoughts?
