This verse always brings a smile to my face. Everytime I read it, I believe it, I internalize it and that is what should be projected into this world…not what society labels as beautiful but what God says you are and that is “beautiful in every way”.
“How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes behind your veil are doves. Your hair is like a flock of goats descending from the hills of Gilead. Your teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn, coming up from the washing. Each has its twin; not one of them is alone. Your lips are like a scarlet ribbon; your mouth is lovely. Your temples behind your veil are like the halves of a pomegranate. Your neck is like the tower of David, built with courses of stone; on it hang a thousand shields, all of them shields of warriors. Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies. Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of incense. You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”

Happy Sunday! ❤️️Xo
My girl Katie posted this image on Instagram earlier this week and my eyes immediately gravitated towards “amazing“, “beautiful” and “honest” (the first 3 words I saw). Apparently, the first 3 words you see describe you so tell me…What do you see? Feel free to leave your comments below.
Happy Thursday! ❤️️️️️️️️xo
God’s desire is for beauty and He wants to bring beauty in His own time. Not the artificial glam that society is so focused on but the true essence of beauty which is from within. It doesn’t come easy and it can’t be purchased rather it comes from the heart…so make sure your heart is open and ready to receive. Let’s be patient and wait for God to work in our lives for “He makes everything beautiful in His time“.
Happy Sunday! ❤️️️️️️️️xo

Happy Sunday! Be blessed! ❤️️xo
There is beauty in everything. Today, take a moment to bask in the beauty that God has made, whether it’s taking in the breeze while walking, enjoying a delicious brunch with friends or better yet, looking in the mirror and seeing the beauty God has created in you. God made all things beautiful. God made you beautiful!
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV)
Happy Sunday! Be blessed!
You fix your makeup just so
Guess you don’t know that you’re beautiful
Try on every dress that you own
You were fine in my eyes a half hour ago
If your mirror won’t
Make it any clearer I’ll
Be the one to let you know
Out of all of the girls
You’re my one and only girl
Ain’t nobody in the world tonight
All of the stars
You make them shine like they were ours
Ain’t nobody in he world
But you…and I
Such profound words from John Legend’s latest single You & I (Nobody In The World) from his album ‘Love In The Future’.
When I first heard this song, I immediately fell in love with the powerful lyrics but it was the music video that really did it for me (icing on the cake for sure!). I couldn’t help but get teary while watching everyday women of all colours, shapes and sizes looking themselves in the mirror and reflecting on their body image and how they view themselves daily. It was such a powerful yet touching look of today’s reality and better yet, a positive message for all daughters, sisters, mothers and wives out there. It was more than what I envisioned.
Play this song for yourself today. Make the lyrics about you. You don’t need makeup to validate your beauty…You don’t need a mirror to determine your allure…Know that you are beautiful!
Press play (if you haven’t already)!
Nothing makes a man more handsome than the belief that he is handsome.
Today (and everyday), I dare you to do this simple task…
Look at yourself in the mirror and repeat these words:
“I AM BEAUTIFUL” / “I AM HANDSOME”
Say it once, twice or as many times possible and take notice of the small yet unique details about yourself…like the shape of your lips, the twinkle in your eyes, the dimples on your thighs and the curves of your back.
Do this and you will begin to see the true beauty that lives in YOU!!!
I’m ready for the challenge. Are you?
Do you want to know what the true essence of beauty is!?
Well here is a powerful quote by Steve Maraboli that may help…
Be you, flaws and all!
God created us all in His image with very unique personalities. His handiwork is perfection through His eyes, even though at times we see differently when we look in the mirror.
How about seeing His vision and looking through His eyes to see what He sees and to admire the beauty that you truly are…because you are BE-YOU-TIFUL!!!
Be happy being YOU.
Accept who you are, flaws & all.
Love what you see in the mirror.
Let your true beauty shine through.
