Every ‘beauty’ problem has a solution…Yes! Even when you drop your compact and see the powder shatter into a thousand pieces. 😢 The beautydepartment.com shows us exactly what to do…
First of all, you will need:
✔️70% alcohol (more effective than rubbing alcohol),
✔️synthetic eyeliner brush,
Now here’s the magic:
1⃣ Tightly wrap the compact with plastic wrap.
2⃣ Crush the entire pan of shadow (into loose powder) with the spatula.
3⃣ Remove the wrap and add between 8-12 droppers full of alcohol.
4⃣ Even out the pliable powder smoothly with the spatula.
5⃣ Perfect the edges with the eyeliner brush.
6⃣ Let it dry for a few hours.
7⃣ Use a Q-tip to clean up the perimeter.
TAH-DAH! No more tears! A brand new compact! 👍
I must confess…I LOVE shoes! 😍
Shoe-a-holic…Me!?….ummm maybe!? 👠
Recently I took on a project of building my shoe closet. It was really simple…I bought 2 Billy bookcases from IKEA for $49 (sale price; regular price:$69) and it took me less than 2 hours to put them both up. Everything I needed came with the package besides a hammer (tip: you can use the bottom of a shoe, preferably an old pair). 😝
I followed the instructions included in the box and Tah-Dah!!!
My very own Shoe Closet!!!
Here are more shoe closet ideas:
I particularly love the first one (It’s Mariah Carey’s shoe closet!).

If you know me, you know that I always carry at least 3-4 lip glosses and/or lipsticks in my handbag everyday. (Hi, my name is Miss M and I’m a lipgloss-a-holic 🙈)
I mean…you never know when you feel like switching it up, so why not carry a few lip shades with you just in case right!?
Want an easier way to carry your collection around and maybe even create some custom shades of your own? Well thanks to Beautylish you can create your own lip palette in just a few steps.
Simply follow these easy instructions:
You can find a palette knife/spatula in most art stores or you can even use a butter knife.
Empty palettes are available on eBay between $2-$10 (depending on the size).
Have fun with your favourite lipsticks!
I ♥ YouTube! It’s great for looking up great tips and tricks for hair, beauty & fashion. I recently learned how to curl my hair using a bohemian headband (no heat necessary…can we say wow!!!) and this is how it turned out:
