WishList: Saint Laurent – Sac De Jour!

Like most women, I have a thang for handbags…but one that I’ve been crushing on for a while now is the Saint Laurent Classic Sac De Jour Bag. Just one look at this beauty and I’m sure you would crush on it too. This gorgeous bag features tubular handles, accordion sides, compression strap with tabs, brass feet and embossed Saint Laurent signature. The interior features a central zip compartment, 2 slot pockets, 1 zip pocket and key ring with padlock keys attached with a snap. This Italian-made bag also has suede lining and removable leather encased padlock for added detail. I just love the simplicity yet unique details of this bag, particularly the accordion sides which is why it is part of my must-have accessories WishList. Accessories: Valley Eyewear!

I’ve been looking to add a new pair of sunglasses to my collection that would be fun to rock this Spring/Summer and I’ve been eyeing the ones at Valley Eyewear. There is just something about this premium fashion eyewear label by Michael Crawley that captures the eye (pun intended). The Australian designer uses only high grade handcrafted acetate frames paired with optics by Carl Zeiss. There are so many styles to choose from but I’m particularly loving the Tenz in light tort & brown gradient, the Genius Child in gloss black & black gradient with its cool modernized cat-eye shape and the DB in Snow Leopard Tort. Very fashionable! Check out my inspirational boards featuring Valley Eyewear   (Images via Pinterest)

Street Style: Beanies!

IMG_4491
Beanies are one of my go-to items this winter (but not if my hair is in an undo or high bun…those days I rock my leopard print earmuffs)…now back to beanies…They are the perfect accessory to have, especially for those not-so-good/lazy hair days…a great instant problem-solver! Not only are they stylish but they also provide warmth, which is a must during the cold months (your ears will thank you). Available in different shapes, sizes, styles, colours and prints, you have lots of options to choose from. Although I prefer the basic ones (like the black or grey ribbed versions – they go with everything!), I also love to play with bright colours like fuchsia, emerald green, royal blue and neon yellow. It’s a great way to add a pop of colour to your winter (outdoor) wardrobe. Need a little beanie-inspiration?! Here are some of my favourite looks…

Accessories: Statement Necklaces!

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/d2f/36340188/files/2014/12/img_9914.jpg
With New Year’s Eve being just a few days away, I’m sure many of you are still trying to figure out what to wear for the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. Whether you’re planning to wear a little not-so-little black dress or a structured sweater with denim or even a blouse with a skirt, what better way to accessories your outfit than with a statement necklace.
They are the perfect accessory to make ANY ensemble stand out. This statement jewelry is meant to be the focus of the overall look and the ultimate conversation starter. You can certainly keep the rest of the outfit simple with such an eye-grabber piece. Chic yet effortless! All you need is this one piece (or a couple pieces if you decide to stack a few necklaces to get the look). Here are some of my face looks featuring statement necklaces.

Fantasy Wish List!

IMG_4178.JPG
Everyone has a “Fantasy Wish List” (things that you don’t need but uber want) and I thought it would be fun to share mine (a girl can dream right?!). Plus you never know, Santa might have me on his good list this year.
My FWL consists of…
▫️Of course, shoes! I’m absolutely loving these laminated high heel court shoes in gold and silver from Zara. They are a must-have in my books and under $70.
▫️More shoes! I’ve been in love with these Pigalle red bottoms in black and nude forever now and I look forward to one day rocking a pair I can call my very own.
▫️Sephora Favorites! Sephora always has amazing gift set ideas and 1 2 3 that caught my eye are Bottled Dreams Fragrance Sampler For Her, Give Me Some Lip and Give Me Some More Lip. It’s a great way to discover new fragrances and lippies and I’m all about that.
▫️Michael Kors! MK came out with a new Sexy Rio de Janeiro Eau de Parfum and I’m in love with its soft, feminine, exotic yet everyday scent. It would be a perfect addition to my collection.
▫More MK! I am due for a new wallet and I’m loving the simplicity and sleekness of this jet set travel continental wallet.
▫️Wool Coat! I’ve been on the search for the perfect camel wool coat for a few years now but this Zara belted wool coat in mink made me lose sight of the ‘camel-colour-must’. It’s absolutely stunning!
▫️Clutches! Cortnie Elizabeth, designer of Love, Cortnie handbags has created some amazing clutches and tote bags. I’m particularly loving this Ashleigh statement clutch, the RiRi II statement clutch and the Calico calf hair statement clutch.
▫️Click Clash Flash! I know a good camera is a must-have so why not go for one that is sure to take the most beautifully vibrant photos like this Canon.
▫️Last but not least, wine! I’m a moscato lover so when I heard that Christina Milian (along with her momager & publicist) created Viva Diva Moscato Wines in different flavours, I knew I had to add that to my list…with so many options to choose from like strawberry, mango and pineapple & coconut, you just can’t go wrong.

These are the items that made it to my FWL. What’s on your list this year?

Happy Monday!

Accessories: “Mise en Dior” Earrings!

IMG_4136.JPG
Accessories that I never rarely leave home without are my earrings and watch (otherwise I feel ‘somewhat’ naked…you know that feeling, right?). My go-to earrings are either studs or pearls so when I first laid eyes on these “Mise en Dior” earrings, I instantly fell in love. How gorgeous are these double ended pearl earrings?! It’s the perfect statement piece that graciously frames any face. I’m loving the bold asymmetric effect. The small pearl rests on the ear while the large pearl peers out behind the lobe. You can even opt to wear it alone, which gives you 2 different sizes to choose from, or as a pair. Who doesn’t love versatility?
